Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Adobe Campaign Classic Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise marketing automation solutions using Adobe Campaign Classic. The role will be responsible for designing scalable campaign architectures, orchestrating cross-channel marketing journeys, and integrating Adobe Campaign with enterprise systems such as CRM, CDP, and data platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with marketing, data, and technology teams to deliver high-performance, data-driven campaign solutions while ensuring platform scalability, governance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
Design scalable and enterprise-grade marketing automation solutions using Adobe Campaign Classic (ACC).
Define the overall campaign architecture, including workflows, data flows, integrations, and orchestration strategies.
Design and implement cross-channel campaign strategies across email, SMS, push notifications, and other marketing channels.
Ensure system scalability, performance, and reliability of the campaign infrastructure.
Implementation & Development
Lead the end-to-end implementation of Adobe Campaign Classic solutions.
Build and optimize campaign workflows, schemas, delivery templates, and personalization strategies.
Develop advanced campaign logic using JavaScript and SQL.
Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to campaign developers and engineers.
Integration & Data Management
Architect and implement integrations between Adobe Campaign Classic and enterprise systems, including: CRM platforms, Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Data warehouses and analytics platforms, APIs and third-party marketing tools.
Design customer data models and data governance frameworks for marketing data.
Optimize data processing and campaign execution performance.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to developers and campaign managers.
Conduct solution design reviews and enforce best practices for campaign implementation.
Performance & Governance
Monitor and optimize campaign performance, delivery success rates, and workflow efficiency.
Implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting frameworks for campaign operations.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, security standards, and enterprise governance policies.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing Technology, or a related field.
12+ years of total experience in marketing technology or marketing automation platforms.
8+ years of relevant hands-on experience with Adobe Campaign Classic (ACC).
Strong expertise in: Campaign workflow development, Data schema and data model design, Delivery management and campaign execution, & Personalization and segmentation strategies
Strong technical experience with: SQL, JavaScript, REST / SOAP APIs
Email deliverability concepts and campaign optimization
Experience integrating Adobe Campaign Classic with enterprise platforms such as CRM, CDP, and marketing systems.
Experience with Adobe Campaign Classic v7 is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of marketing data architecture and data governance practices.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and solution architecture skills.
