Role Purpose

The Adobe Campaign Classic Specialist will be responsible for both technical development and end-to-end campaign execution within Adobe Campaign Classic v8. This role combines expertise in platform enhancements, WebApp development, system integration, and campaign management to deliver personalized, data-driven marketing experiences across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Development & Platform Support

  • Design, develop, and maintain WebApps and integrations with Adobe Campaign Classic v8.
  • Integrate ACC with new marketing channels and external interfaces.
  • Manage schema extensions, API integrations, and optimize data flows.
  • Develop and monitor data ingestion pipelines; troubleshoot failed feeds, synchronization issues, or workflow errors.
  • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across RT-CDP sources, attributes, and identity namespaces.
  • Execute data import/export processes in compliance with governance and security standards.
  • Implement and monitor security measures including access controls, encryption, and data retention practices.
  • Maintain proper documentation and version control for all developments, workflows, and configurations.

Campaign Management & Execution

  • Plan, build, and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns using Adobe Campaign Classic v8.
  • Configure personalized schema workflows and set up deliveries for execution.
  • Design and build ‘always-on’ trigger campaigns for real-time engagement.
  • Create and deploy Push Campaigns in SMP platform based on campaign briefs.
  • Perform QA and troubleshoot HTML/content issues before deployment.
  • Manage audience segmentation, targeting logic, and personalization across destination channels.
  • Handle inbound and outbound real-time activation processes ensuring data quality.
  • Generate proofs and counts for validation with business stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy, and compliance standards.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Certification:
    • Certified Adobe Campaign Classic Developer
    • Certified Adobe Campaign Classic Business Practitioner
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3–4+ years of hands-on Adobe Campaign Classic experience.
    • Strong experience with complex workflows, delivery setup, and technical development.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for custom development and platform extensions.
    • Familiarity with CRM integrations across marketing, sales, and support systems.
    • Experience building Push campaigns via SMP platform.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Experience with RT-CDP (Adobe Experience Platform) preferred.
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
