Job Title: AI Developer II

Job Summary

The AI Developer II plays a key role in designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven solutions in collaboration with the AI Lead and cross-functional teams. This role focuses on building, improving, and scaling machine learning models that address real business needs while staying up to date with emerging AI technologies and best practices.

You will support all major phases of the AI development lifecycle, including data preparation, feature engineering, model training, validation, optimization, deployment, and monitoring. You will also help maintain AI solutions in production environments to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.

Working with both onshore and offshore teams, you will contribute to the timely delivery of prioritized AI initiatives. You will also help ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory standards prior to release.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions that solve real business problems.

• Support the full AI development lifecycle:

  • Data preparation and preprocessing

  • Feature engineering

  • Model training and validation

  • Performance tuning and optimization

• Build and enhance scalable AI models using modern ML frameworks and cloud platforms.

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain AI solutions in production environments.

• Collaborate with AI Leads, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Work closely with onshore and offshore teams to ensure timely delivery of AI initiatives.

• Apply security, data privacy, and compliance best practices throughout development and deployment.

• Contribute to reusable AI components, shared assets, development standards, and reference architectures.

• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and incorporate relevant advancements into solutions.

• Support knowledge sharing by mentoring or enabling team members on AI tools, models, and best practices.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field.

• Preferred: Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field.

• Preferred: Industry certifications in AI, Machine Learning, or Cloud Platforms.

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience developing and deploying AI or machine learning solutions.

• Proven experience deploying AI systems into production environments.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions.

• Experience mentoring, training, or enabling developers, analysts, or business users on AI tools and best practices.

Core Technical Skills

Programming & Frameworks

• Strong proficiency in Python for AI and machine learning development.

• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as:

  • PyTorch

  • TensorFlow

  • scikit-learn

Data Processing & Analysis

• Strong experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and analysis using:

  • Pandas

  • NumPy

  • Matplotlib

  • Seaborn

NLP & Document-Centric AI

• Experience with:

  • OCR and document processing

  • Document classification and entity extraction

  • Text summarization

Large Language Models (LLMs)

• Experience building LLM-based solutions, including:

  • Chatbots and conversational AI

  • Prompt engineering and evaluation

  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

  • Intelligent or semantic search

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Experience with cloud-based AI platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure or AWS).

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and/or Kubernetes.

• Exposure to MLOps practices, including:

  • CI/CD pipelines for ML models

  • Model versioning

  • Deployment automation

  • Monitoring

Integration & Architecture

• Familiarity with REST API development and integrating AI capabilities into backend systems.

• Experience contributing to shared AI components, development standards, or reference architectures.

Ways of Working

• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.

• Experience collaborating with onshore and offshore teams.

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain AI concepts, risks, and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Work Arrangement

• Work Setup: Hybrid  (Once a month RTO in Quezon City)

• Shift: Midshift

• Availability: Immediate to 15 days
