We are seeking an experienced Alfresco Application Administrator to manage, support, and optimize our enterprise content management (ECM) platform. In this role, you will be responsible for administering, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Alfresco applications to ensure system reliability, security, and performance. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable content management solutions that support business objectives and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain the Alfresco Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Alfresco technical solutions.
- Configure workflows, repositories, permissions, and access controls to meet business and security requirements.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot platform issues, and optimize application performance.
- Perform repository administration, ensuring data integrity, availability, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Support multiple projects by providing technical expertise and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with business users, developers, and infrastructure teams to implement and enhance content management solutions.
- Evaluate system improvements by conducting cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses for platform enhancements.
- Support platform integrations using Alfresco APIs and third-party tools where applicable.
- Document system configurations, operational procedures, and technical solutions to support knowledge sharing and ongoing maintenance.
- Participate in incident and problem management activities to ensure service continuity and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5–7 years of experience in enterprise content management, with strong expertise in Alfresco Administration.
- Hands-on experience administering and supporting Alfresco repositories, workflows, permissions, and content lifecycle management.
- Experience with Alfresco platform optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of Java, Python, or scripting languages to support platform customization and code analysis.
- Experience with Alfresco integrations, APIs, and third-party tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is an advantage.
- Experience supporting infrastructure hosted both on-premises and in cloud or PaaS environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of enterprise content management compliance and governance best practices.
