Overview

We are looking for an Application Support Specialist to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications. This role combines production support, cloud exposure, and DevOps practices, making it ideal for engineers who enjoy solving issues while driving system improvements.

What You’ll Do

  • Resolve application issues and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Support deployments and transitions from development to production
  • Manage incidents, escalations, and problem resolution
  • Drive continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
  • Automate manual tasks to improve efficiency and service delivery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Maintain clear documentation and support knowledge sharing

What We’re Looking For

Core Skills

  • Strong SQL (preferably Microsoft SQL Server) experience
  • Experience in application support / incident management
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar)
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
  • Working knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Strong troubleshooting, prioritization, and communication skills

Preferred Technical Exposure

  • Programming/scripting in Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or PHP
  • Experience with Git/GitHub and version control workflows
  • Exposure to Oracle or other relational databases
  • Background in DevOps practices and release management
