We are looking for an Atlassian Administrator to join our growing team. The Atlassian Administrator is responsible for administering, configuring, and supporting Atlassian tools—primarily Jira and Confluence—to ensure efficient project tracking, collaboration, and system governance. This mid-level role focuses on user and group management, project configuration, workflow customization, and platform optimization while providing support and guidance to end users and project teams.
Manage Jira user accounts, including adding, updating, deactivating, and deleting users
Configure and maintain user default settings, dashboards, and permissions
Administer Jira groups, roles, notifications, filters, and workflow conditions
Integrate and manage external user directories within Jira
Configure and maintain Jira projects, including company-managed projects
Create and manage workflows, schemes, issue types, labels, custom fields, and screens
Utilize Jira Query Language (JQL) to support reporting, filtering, and issue navigation
Configure project schemes such as permission, notification, issue security, workflow, screen, and field configuration schemes
Manage project versions and components
Convert and configure existing projects to different project types as required
Administer Confluence spaces, pages, macros, permissions, and user settings
Support knowledge sharing and documentation through Confluence
Troubleshoot and resolve Jira- and Confluence-related issues efficiently
Document system configurations, prepare reports, and provide end-user support and training
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure Atlassian tools align with project and organizational needs
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
2–3 years of experience as a Jira or Atlassian Administrator
Strong expertise in configuring and managing Jira projects, workflows, and permissions
Proficiency in user, group, role, and directory administration within Jira
Solid understanding of custom workflows, transitions, and automation
Experience troubleshooting and resolving Jira-related technical issues
Strong documentation, reporting, and end-user training skills
Good communication skills in English
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator or other relevant Atlassian certifications are an advantage
