Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Azure Architect with Java expertise to lead and design robust cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Azure cloud architecture and extensive experience in Java application development. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on implementation abilities to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure cloud architectures aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Lead the migration of on-premise applications and workloads to Azure.
- Architect and deploy solutions incorporating Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps.
- Develop and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performing Java-based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Azure solutions with enterprise systems.
- Establish and enforce governance policies for cloud operations, cost management, and security compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud and application-related issues.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing within the team.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as an Azure Architect with a deep understanding of cloud principles and practices.
- Strong programming expertise in Java with knowledge of frameworks like Spring Boot or Java EE.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, and ARM templates or Terraform.
- Proficiency in designing and deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Solid grasp of security best practices, including identity and access management, data protection, and compliance in Azure environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are a plus.
