💼 We’re Hiring: Azure Cloud and Linux Architect
The Senior Azure Cloud & Linux Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and optimizing enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure and Linux platforms across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. This role provides technical leadership for cloud transformation initiatives, infrastructure modernization, automation, security, disaster recovery, and operational excellence.
The architect will work closely with infrastructure, application, security, network, and business teams to develop scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure and enterprise Linux technologies.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities
Azure Cloud Architecture
- Design and implement enterprise Azure architectures aligned with business requirements, security standards, and governance frameworks.
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises environments to Azure.
- Design hybrid cloud solutions integrating Azure with enterprise datacenters.
- Architect highly available, scalable, and disaster-resilient cloud environments.
- Design Azure Landing Zones, subscriptions, management groups, and governance structures.
- Design and manage Azure services including:
- Azure Virtual Machines and VM Scale Sets
- Application Gateway and Load Balancer
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- App Services and Azure Functions
- Azure Storage and Azure NetApp Files
- Azure Networking, DNS, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and Azure Firewall
- Azure Site Recovery and Azure Backup
- Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics
- Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, Logic Apps, and other PaaS services
- Develop cloud migration strategies including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and refactoring.
- Drive cloud governance, resource management, performance, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
Linux Architecture & Infrastructure
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Linux platforms across production environments.
- Provide architecture and administration expertise for:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Ubuntu
- Rocky Linux
- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES)
- Establish Linux security hardening standards and configuration baselines.
- Design Linux clustering, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Perform kernel administration, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Establish patching, lifecycle management, monitoring, and centralized logging standards.
Cloud Security & Governance
- Implement Azure security best practices and Zero Trust principles.
- Design identity and access management solutions using:
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Azure RBAC
- Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
- Conditional Access
- Conduct security and architecture reviews.
- Implement security and compliance controls aligned with frameworks such as CIS, NIST, and ISO 27001.
- Support vulnerability management, IAM/PAM, and infrastructure security initiatives.
Infrastructure Automation & DevOps
- Lead Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Terraform, Azure Bicep, and ARM Templates.
- Develop automation and configuration management solutions using:
- Ansible
- PowerShell
- Bash
- Python
- Utilize Git and Azure DevOps for source control, automation, and infrastructure delivery.
- Drive infrastructure standardization and operational automation.
Monitoring, Storage & Disaster Recovery
- Design enterprise monitoring and observability solutions using technologies such as:
- Azure Monitor
- Log Analytics
- Grafana
- Nagios
- Design hybrid cloud storage and backup architectures.
- Architect backup and disaster recovery solutions using:
- Azure Backup
- Azure Site Recovery
- Veeam Backup & Replication
- Azure Blob Storage
- SAN and object storage
- Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans.
- Lead DR testing, recovery validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical leadership and architectural governance across cloud and infrastructure initiatives.
- Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, and solution design sessions.
- Mentor Azure Cloud, Linux, DevOps, and Infrastructure Engineers.
- Collaborate with application, security, network, and business stakeholders.
- Develop architecture documentation, technical standards, roadmaps, and operational runbooks.

🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Azure cloud architecture and engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in Linux administration and architecture.
- Proven experience leading cloud migration and modernization projects.
- Strong experience designing and managing enterprise-scale hybrid cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Experience supporting and architecting large-scale production environments.
- Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
