Role Overview
We are looking for a BI & Data Engineer to support and maintain enterprise Business Intelligence and data platforms, with a strong focus on SAP BusinessObjects, SQL-based reporting, and API-integrated data ecosystems. This role operates in a global, SLA-driven support environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 application support for BI and data platforms
- Analyze and resolve complex incidents affecting dashboards, reports, and data pipelines
- Use SQL to trace, validate, and troubleshoot data flows
- Support SAP BusinessObjects reports, universes, and scheduling
- Monitor and support API-enabled data integrations
- Participate in high-impact incident and crisis management
- Create and maintain technical and operational documentation
- Enable Level 1 and Level 2 teams through knowledge transfer
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- SAP BusinessObjects (BO / Universe)
- Strong SQL
- Experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory
- API platforms (e.g. Apigee, API First, AWS APIs)
- Traditional BI stack: SQL Server, SSAS, SSIS, SSMS
Core Skills
- Strong English communication skills
- Analytical and customer-focused mindset
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks
- Experience working with enterprise ticketing systems
Technology Exposure
- Finance BI: Financial, Accounting, Billing Reports (SQL Server, QlikView)
- Manufacturing BI: Production & Returns Reporting (ASP.NET, SSAS, SSIS, QlikView)
- Enterprise Data Platforms:
- Amazon S3 Data Lake
- Elasticsearch, Talend
- Global API integrations (EMEA, AMERA, Brazil, Europe)
