About the Role
We are looking for a Business Analyst to support finance applications, sales data processes, and reporting activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, improving business processes, and collaborating with both business and technical teams.
You will work closely with Finance, Sales, IT, and Data teams to ensure reporting processes run smoothly, data remains accurate, issues are resolved efficiently, and business requirements are translated into effective solutions.
This is a mid-level position suited for someone who can work independently, take ownership of tasks, and drive continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for finance and sales users regarding reporting tools and business applications.
- Support monthly sales and financial reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate data discrepancies and coordinate issue resolution with relevant teams.
- Maintain and support customer, product, and pricing master data.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to analyze requirements and implement enhancements.
- Support and improve reports, dashboards, and KPI reporting.
- Gather and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Monitor data quality and ensure consistency across reporting systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role supporting business, finance, sales, or reporting applications.
- Experience supporting reporting processes, data analysis, or business operations.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reconciliation.
- Experience working with BI and reporting tools such as:
- SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO)
- SAP BW
- Power BI
- Tableau
- Similar BI platforms
- Experience gathering business requirements and documenting processes.
- Experience coordinating or participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, IT teams, and data teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Nice to Have
- Basic SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
- Experience supporting finance, sales, or commercial processes.
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience with master data management.
- Exposure to Databricks or similar data platforms.
