Position: Data Analyst
Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for managing customer and territory data, ensuring high levels of accuracy, integrity, and availability. You will support the Regional Sales Analyst with reporting, data analysis, and business insights across various projects.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, is highly organized, and has experience working with CRM and BI tools in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Enrichment
- Conduct customer and territory data enrichment and cleanup from multiple sources.
- Perform customer data cleansing and communicate progress with stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues related to accuracy, uniqueness, and consistency.
- Respond to data discrepancy requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Sales & Territory Analysis
- Provide sales territory and coverage analysis to identify gaps.
- Evaluate sales channel coverage for effective campaign and opportunity assignments.
- Maintain sales hierarchy updates (new hires, transfers, terminations, etc.).
Reporting & Collaboration
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Analysts to support reporting and data review requirements.
- Assist in generating reports and dashboards for business decision-making.
- Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistent data processes.
Technical Skills & Competencies
Required
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP).
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
Experience in sales data management or territory planning.
Exposure to data governance practices.
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, dashboards).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Team player with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
