Enterprise IP Telephony (10 Years of Experience)
- Expert-level knowledge of VoIP, SIP, RTP, H.323, and call control systems (e.g., Cisco CUCM).
- Extensive experience managing large-scale VoIP systems, including complex SIP trunking and multi-site voice gateways.
- Mastery of VoIP and network integration, with a strong focus on QoS optimization, redundancy, and disaster recovery for voice traffic.
- Expertise in resolving highly complex telephony issues, including system outages and integration failures.
- In-depth knowledge of Unified Communications platforms, ensuring seamless integration and functionality with telephony systems.
- Strong expertise in telephony security, including the implementation of robust encryption, fraud detection, and prevention mechanisms.
- Extensive experience designing and managing complex call routing and dial plans to optimize efficiency across global organizations.
- Advanced proficiency in managing and maintaining a wide array of telephony hardware (IP phones, SBCs, gateways, media servers).
- Ability to oversee large-scale monitoring, reporting, and continuous performance tuning of telephony systems.
- Leadership in managing service requests, incidents, and change management for enterprise-level telephony systems.
- Strong ability to negotiate and manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely issue resolution and effective support agreements.
- Proven ability to document and maintain large, complex telephony environments, ensuring alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Leadership in continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining operations, implementing automation, and ensuring optimal system performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Telecommunications, IT, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience managing and architecting large-scale IP telephony systems.
Certifications (Preferred but Not Required):
