As a Custom Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and enhance custom software solutions tailored to specific business requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for coding, improving system components, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions. Work independently and develop into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your domain.
Actively participate and contribute to team discussions and decision-making processes.
Provide effective solutions to technical and work-related challenges.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
Perform comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure software quality and optimal performance.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development practices.
Document software designs, processes, and best practices for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Mentor and guide junior team members to support their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills
Required Skill: Advanced proficiency in Genesys Contact Center Operations.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies, design principles, and best practices.
Hands-on experience with modern programming languages and frameworks relevant to software engineering.
Proven ability to analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex software issues.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and related tools.
Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with cloud-based solutions and deployment strategies.
Additional Information
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Genesys Contact Center Operations is required.
This position is based in our Manila office.
Schedule: 6AM-4PM or 6PM-4AM. Shifts will rotate every 2 months
