Group Operations Data Lead

We are seeking a Group Operations Data Lead to drive end-to-end data enablement for global operations initiatives across multiple countries and business units. This role is responsible for designing and governing group-wide data solutions, ensuring alignment to enterprise data architecture, standards, and governance while enabling local business units to adapt to regulatory and operational needs.
You will act as the central data coordination point between Group and Local Business Units (LBUs), working closely with architects, data governance teams, solution owners, and delivery teams to ensure consistent, high-quality, and compliant data across digital platforms, operational systems, analytics, and AI use cases.
Lead data design for global operations solutions, including data models, standards, and solution blueprints
Ensure compliance with enterprise data architecture, governance, privacy, and acceptable data use policies
Coordinate and guide LBU data teams during implementation of group solutions
Oversee data readiness, data quality, lineage, and canonical data model alignment
Support analytics, dashboards, and AI data foundations across group and regional solutions
Act as a data authority, managing exceptions, risks, and escalations to governance forums
10+ years’ experience across data lifecycle management (data architecture, governance, quality, standards)
Proven leadership experience managing data teams in complex, federated environments
Strong experience working with analytics and AI data foundations
Background in Financial Services or Insurance preferred
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure or GCP)
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influence skills
