We are seeking a motivated Informix Database Developer / Administrator to design, maintain, and optimize Informix databases. The role involves troubleshooting, performance tuning, and supporting data migration efforts, while collaborating closely with project teams to ensure successful integration and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Informix databases to meet business and project requirements.
- Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and data migration tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful post-deployment integration.
- Participate in intensive training sessions to quickly adapt to project-specific requirements.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Technical Skills:
- Strong foundation in SQL and database concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Informix or similar relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
Soft Skills:
