Overview

We are seeking an experienced Integration Testing QA Lead to oversee end-to-end integration testing activities across multiple systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong automation expertise, solid Core Java programming knowledge, and proven leadership capabilities. This role requires excellent communication skills, hands-on technical involvement, and the ability to manage and mentor QA team members while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Lead and manage integration testing activities across multiple applications, APIs, and backend systems.
  • Design, develop, and maintain API automation frameworks using HTTP Client, Jersey Client, and Rest Assured.
  • Develop and execute UI automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver (Java) and/or Playwright.
  • Review and enhance existing automation frameworks to improve stability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Work closely with developers, architects, and business teams to understand integration points and system dependencies.
  • Drive test strategy, test planning, and test execution for integration testing phases.
  • Monitor and manage defect lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA team members.
  • Host status meetings and ensure transparent communication of risks, issues, and progress.
  • Ensure CI/CD integration of automation suites and promote continuous testing practices.

Technical Skills 

  • Minimum 6–10 years of experience in QA, with strong focus on Integration Testing.
  • Proven experience in a QA Lead or senior automation role with team handling responsibilities.
  • Strong hands-on experience in API Automation using: HTTP Client / Jersey Client, Rest Assured
  • Strong experience in UI Automation using: Selenium WebDriver with Java, Playwright (preferred or additional advantage)
  • Solid Core Java programming knowledge with the ability to build and maintain automation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and system integrations.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and integration of automation pipelines is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team collaboration abilities.
