We are seeking a Java Spring Developer to support and help build our next generation of digital solutions.
Responsibilities
- Participate in regular backlog refinement sessions, offering meaningful technical insights and contributing to solution design
- Engage in sprint planning to ensure balanced workload distribution and effective time management
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using modern technologies and simplified business logic to enhance customer experience
- Contribute to Research and Development initiatives (“Innovation Sprints”) to continuously improve technical skills and explore emerging technologies
- Collaborate closely with program and project management teams to provide visibility on timelines, risks, and technical progress
- Ensure system reliability by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving application bugs and issues
- Adhere to best practices in coding standards, testing, and technical documentation
Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience/knowledge in full‑stack development using technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, or Python
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and system integration
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with containerization and deployment using Kubernetes
- Knowledge of architectural and integration patterns such as Pub/Sub, messaging queues, databases, and APIs
- Ability to communicate technical designs, trade‑offs, and solutions clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset
- Commitment to code quality, testing, and delivering maintainable, efficient solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Background in microservices or distributed systems architecture
- Exposure to container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or RHOCP
- Experience with serverless architectures
- Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
