Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior BI & Data Developer to support enterprise reporting and analytics platforms. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational BI knowledge and hands‑on exposure to SAP BusinessObjects, SQL, and modern data platforms, working within a production and support‑oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Develop and support reports using SAP BusinessObjects (Web Intelligence)
- Assist in designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Universes / semantic layers using IDT
- Validate and reconcile report data against source systems
Data & Platforms
- Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analysis
- Support data processing and analytics using Databricks and Python
- Assist with data ingestion, transformation, and pipeline support
- Apply BI and data modeling concepts (facts, dimensions, star schemas)
Data Integration & Support
- Support ETL / ELT processes, primarily using SAP Data Services
- Investigate data issues, reporting discrepancies, and performance concerns
- Provide L2 production support for BI applications
- Participate in incident analysis and root‑cause investigations
Collaboration
- Work closely with BI, data, and application teams
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing
- Support operational BI and reporting processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
- Understanding of BI fundamentals and reporting concepts
- Hands‑on exposure to SAP BusinessObjects, including WebI and Universes
- Strong SQL fundamentals
- Exposure to Databricks and Python
- Familiarity with SAP Data Services or similar ETL tools
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in enterprise or SLA‑driven support environments
- Exposure to React or front‑end reporting interfaces
- Basic exposure to SAP BW / BW on HANA (not a core requirement)
