About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Business Data Analyst to support finance applications, with a focus on sales data and monthly reporting processes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, ensuring accuracy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with finance/sales stakeholders and IT/data teams, helping ensure systems, data, and reporting processes run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Support users experiencing issues with financial and reporting tools

• Assist in monthly reporting processes:

  • Validate and reconcile data
  • Investigate discrepancies
  • Ensure consistency across systems

• Maintain and update master data (customers, products, pricing)

• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and errors

• Collaborate with IT and data teams for deeper issue resolution

• Support reporting and ensure accuracy of business-critical metrics

• Document processes for transparency and continuous improvement

• Assist in system testing and validation of updates

Qualifications

✅ Required

• 0–3 years of experience (or relevant internship)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable handling and validating data
• High attention to detail and structured approach
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
• Reliable, proactive, and accountable

➕ Nice to Have

• Exposure to BI/Reporting tools (Power BI, dashboards, KPIs)
• Basic SQL or data querying knowledge
• Familiarity with SAP BO, SAP BW, or ERP systems
• Experience with data management or reporting processes
