We are looking for a Junior Data Specialist to help us manage and optimize data processes, perform analysis, and contribute to the development of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a passion for data and technology. You will work closely with our senior data team to support various BI and analytics projects, with a focus on tools like Snowflake and QlikView.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in data collection, integration, and analysis from various sources.
- Support the design and maintenance of data pipelines and data models using Snowflake.
- Assist in building and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using QlikView.
- Work with senior data specialists to develop BI solutions that meet client needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Perform data validation, quality checks, and data cleaning tasks.
- Provide timely support in troubleshooting and resolving data issues.
- Assist in ensuring the security and integrity of client data.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Familiarity with Snowflake and QlikView (or similar tools).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good understanding of data management, data pipelines, and data models.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SQL for querying and managing databases.
- Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with data visualization techniques.
