Job Overview:

The L3 Applications Support Specialist is responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise applications. This role ensures application stability, resolves complex issues, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 3 support for critical business applications, addressing escalated technical issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement preventive solutions.
  • Work extensively with SQL databases, including query optimization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Utilize SSMS/SSIS for data integration, migration, and ETL processes.
  • Support Basic RDC (Remote Desktop Connection) for application access and troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with L1/L2 support teams, developers, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Participate in incident management, change management, and system upgrades to ensure minimal disruption.
  • Document solutions, troubleshooting steps, and best practices for knowledge-sharing.
  • Conduct performance monitoring and proactive maintenance to ensure application stability.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in Application Support, IT Operations, or a related role.
✅ Strong expertise in SQL databases, SSMS/SSIS, and data troubleshooting.
✅ Experience with Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) and resolving remote access issues.
✅ Solid understanding of incident management, troubleshooting methodologies, and ITIL practices.
✅ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
✅ Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.

Nice-to-Have:

⭐ Experience with automation, scripting, or cloud-based applications.
⭐ Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance tuning techniques.
⭐ Previous experience in a client-facing support role.
