Overview
We are seeking a Lead Systems Analyst to support the design and delivery of a tokenized deposits platform for a leading financial institution. This role focuses on translating business and regulatory requirements into scalable system solutions, covering token lifecycle, payments integration, and settlement processes.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in payments systems, system integration, and enterprise platforms, with exposure to digital assets or modern architectures being an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional analysis and solution design for tokenized deposit platforms, including token lifecycle (issuance, transfer, redemption).
- Define system workflows, user journeys, and data flows aligned with business and operational requirements.
- Design and support integration across payment systems, core banking, and downstream platforms.
- Work with architects to define APIs, integration patterns, and event-driven system designs.
- Support both on-chain and off-chain settlement processes, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
- Ensure solutions meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements (e.g., AML, audit, monitoring).
- Collaborate with development teams to clarify requirements, logic, and edge cases during build and testing phases.
- Support testing, defect analysis, and system validation, including reconciliation and failure scenarios.
- Engage stakeholders across technology, payments, treasury, and compliance teams.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners where required.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- 12+ years of experience, with 7+ years in systems analysis within banking or financial services.
- Strong experience in payments systems, transaction processing, or financial platforms.
- Solid understanding of:
- System integration, APIs, and microservices architecture
- Event-driven systems and data flows
- End-to-end transaction lifecycle and settlement processes
- Hands-on experience with:
- API design (REST/JSON)
- Data analysis and system workflows
- Integration with core banking, AML, or ledger systems
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements.
