We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Opentext BPM Technical Consultant to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise-grade OpenText ECM and BPM solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in OpenText Content Server, xECM, SAP Archiving, workflow automation, and enterprise integrations across complex business environments.
The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and project managers to deliver scalable and high-performing ECM solutions that align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable OpenText ECM/BPM technical solutions and specifications.
- Design, develop, configure, and implement OpenText Content Server, xECM, and workflow-based solutions across enterprise environments.
- Conduct business workshops to gather requirements, map processes, identify gaps, and recommend ECM process improvements.
- Integrate OpenText platforms with enterprise applications such as SAP, SharePoint, and other third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
- Configure and support OpenText Content Server modules including Records Management, Workflows, LiveReports, Forms, and Classifications.
- Develop custom components, scripts, reports, workflows, and forms using JavaScript, Core Java, C#, and related technologies.
- Execute unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure successful end-to-end solution delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and contribute to project planning, effort estimation, risk assessment, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide timely resolution and post-deployment support.
- Support infrastructure planning, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization initiatives for ECM platforms.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in OpenText ECM product suite implementation and support on medium to large-scale projects.
- Strong expertise in OpenText technologies including Content Server, xECM, SAP Archiving, and SharePoint AGA.
- Experience configuring OpenText modules such as Records Management, Workflows, LiveReports/WebReports, Forms, and Physical Objects.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Core Java, C#, CSS, and enterprise application development technologies.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP, WSDL, and web services integration.
- Solid database experience with SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, or MySQL.
- Experience implementing and supporting collaborative solutions including Brava for Content Server, SharePoint, SAP, and OpenText Rendition Server (Blazon).
- Exposure to infrastructure sizing, system performance tuning, high availability, and disaster recovery environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead technical workshops.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering ECM/BPM projects across multiple industries, preferably within Oil & Gas or other enterprise sectors.
