Overview  

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Finance Consultant with strong functional expertise and working technical knowledge to support implementation, configuration, and optimization of Oracle Fusion and EBS applications. The role will primarily focus on functional analysis, business process alignment, and stakeholder engagement, while also requiring technical exposure for integrations, reporting, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that Oracle Fusion solutions effectively meet business requirements and operational goals. 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into Oracle Fusion/EBS functional specifications. 
  • Configure and support Oracle Fusion and EBS modules in line with business processes and best practices. 
  • Conduct functional workshops, solution design discussions, and user training sessions with stakeholders. 
  • Support end-to-end implementation activities, including requirement analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment. 
  • Perform functional testing, UAT support, and issue resolution to ensure system reliability and accuracy. 
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reports, and extensions where required. 
  • Assist in data migration activities, validation, and reconciliation. 
  • Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations. 
  • Prepare and maintain functional documentation, process flows, and configuration guides. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, Procurement, or Supply Chain stakeholders depending on the module scope. 

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Oracle ERP Consultant with a strong functional focus (approximately 80% functional responsibilities).
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion or EBS implementation or support projects.
  • Strong knowledge in one or more Oracle Fusion/EBS modules such as Financials, Procurement, SCM, or HCM.
  • Experience conducting requirements gathering, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Understanding of Oracle Fusion data structures, workflows, and reporting.
  • Understanding of Oracle Fusion and EBS integrations and interfaces
  • Exposure to OTBI, BI Publisher, or reporting tools
  • Familiarity with APIs, web services, or data migration concepts
  • Experience supporting testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and resolving functional defects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business teams.

Preferred / Added Advantage

  • Experience in end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementation projects.
  • Familiarity with integration tools or middleware (OIC or similar).
  • Knowledge of cloud ERP best practices and process optimization.
  • Oracle certifications related to Fusion Applications are a plus.
  • Experience working in onshore–offshore delivery models.
