Payroll Senior Analyst

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for both in-house and outsourced teams. This includes applying the correct deductions and withholdings, maintaining employee hours and payments, calculating commissions and bonuses, and generating payroll reports that support the master and expense budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Junior Team Lead and Inhouse Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the team.
  • Act as a backup to the Inhouse Payroll Team Lead, supporting leadership responsibilities as needed.
  • Develop expertise through cross-training on Payroll Processing activities to serve as a backup for other leads during peak periods or team member absences.
  • Function as the first level of escalation for payroll matters concerning Career Level 11–12 employees.
  • Collaborate with other leads to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Manage and execute critical, priority, and complex payroll transactions/activities with accuracy and compliance.

Scope of Responsibilities Includes:

  • Producing and distributing employee pay to bank accounts.
  • Conducting payroll audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Preparing and submitting General Ledger feeds.
  • Generating and distributing payroll reports.
  • Submitting vendor and government-mandated data as required.
  • Completing all post-pay run activities.
  • Calculating gross-to-net pay with precision.
