Execute end-to-end sourcing initiatives across the Source-to-Contract (S2C) lifecycle, including supplier sourcing, RFx events, negotiations, and contract execution.
Support the development of category strategies using market intelligence, supplier research, and financial/commercial analysis.
Conduct supplier evaluations and market analysis to identify cost savings, mitigate risks, and improve supplier performance.
Analyze supplier proposals and contracts to support data-driven negotiation strategies and business decisions.
Collaborate with global stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams across Japanese, Mandarin, and Korean-speaking markets.
Translate procurement documents and communications (Japanese/Mandarin/Korean ↔ English) ensuring accuracy and business context.
Utilize AI and digital procurement tools to streamline sourcing activities, improve reporting, and enhance efficiency.
Contribute to market insights, sourcing strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives within procurement operations.
Support business development activities such as contract assessments, due diligence, and case preparation.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual requirements, and company standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field
5–7 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or consulting
Proven experience in sourcing execution, supplier management, and contract negotiation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial and commercial data
Experience using procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or similar tools)
Familiarity with AI tools and digital procurement solutions is an advantage
Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing deliverables
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are an advantage but not required
Amenable to work on a 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM schedule
Amenable to a hybrid work setup (2 days onsite per week)
Language Requirements
Proficiency in at least one of the following languages (additional languages are a plus):
Japanese:
JLPT N1–N2 level (Fluent to Near Native)
Mandarin (Chinese):
C1–C2 level proficiency (based on CEFR or equivalent; Fluent to Near Native)
Korean:
C1–C2 level proficiency (based on CEFR or equivalent; Fluent to Near Native)
English: Conversational to professional working proficiency (required for all roles to support global stakeholders)
