
The SAP HCM AMS Consultant is responsible for providing post‑implementation support, maintenance, and enhancement services for SAP Human Capital Management modules. The role focuses on incident resolution, change requests, compliance support, and system stabilization in a live production environment. .
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP HCM AMS support, including L2/L3 incident management and escalations
- Provide functional support across PA, OM, TM, and Payroll modules
- Resolve complex issues related to master data, time evaluation, payroll, schemas, and infotypes
- Ensure SLA adherence, service quality, and system stability
- Perform root cause analysis and manage change requests and enhancements
- Support UAT, releases, and regulatory/statutory updates
- Act as primary contact for HR and business stakeholders
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (FI, Security, third-party systems)
- Drive continuous improvement and support transformation initiatives (e.g., S/4HANA, SuccessFactors)
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base
Job Requirements:
- 10+ years of SAP HCM functional consulting experience
- Strong expertise in core HCM modules: PA, OM, TM, and Payroll
- Hands-on experience in AMS/support environments (L2/L3 support)
- Solid understanding of schemas, PCRs, infotypes, and payroll processes
- Experience in incident, problem, and change management
- Knowledge of HR compliance and statutory requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to lead teams and mentor junior consultants
