Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manual Quality Assurance / Testing
At least 5 years of experience in Automation QA / Testing, with hands-on development of automated test frameworks
Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, C, C#, or shell scripting
Experience using Playwright and other test automation frameworks
Hands-on experience with backend API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and REST APIs
Strong working knowledge of database technologies including Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB
Solid understanding of test design techniques, QA methodologies, and the software development lifecycle (Agile & Waterfall)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong time management and problem-solving abilities
Experience in business domains such as manufacturing, distribution, or financial operations
Exposure to mentoring or guiding junior QA staff
Familiarity with cloud services and cloud automation platforms
Prior experience working in a shared-services or cross-functional QA/Automation setup
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver or equivalent tools
Review requirements and define test automation strategies while ensuring high coding standards
Translate business and functional requirements into automated test cases
Ensure releases conform to agreed functionality and requirements, supported by test summary reports or acceptance certificates
Participate in and enforce software development lifecycle standards and QA best practices
Monitor and report automation progress and testing metrics
Contribute recommendations for tool, framework, or environment improvements
Collaborate with manual QA, developers, and senior automation analysts to enhance automation framework architecture
Execute test scripts; identify, replicate, and clearly report defects
Validate fixes and new functionality through regression, functional, and system testing
Prepare test plans, effort estimations, and test result summaries
Mentor junior QA and Automation team members
Record testing activities, report issues, and ensure compliance with process standards
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including developers, business analysts, and QA leads
