We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Insurance and Claims Operations. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in business/process analysis, excels at gathering and documenting requirements, and brings a solid techno-functional understanding to bridge business needs with technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end business analysis activities for complex insurance and claims-related initiatives.
Analyze, document, and optimize business processes to drive operational efficiency.
Conduct detailed requirement elicitation sessions with business users, SMEs, and technical teams.
Translate business needs into clear and well-structured user stories, functional specifications, and process flows.
Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and developers to ensure requirements are fully understood and implemented effectively.
Support solution design by leveraging deep domain knowledge and techno-functional perspective.
Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and UAT sessions with stakeholders.
Assess change impacts and support change management activities.
Ensure alignment of business goals with project outcomes and delivery timelines.
Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement within insurance and claims processes.
Required Skills & Experience
10–15 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Process Analyst.
Strong domain expertise in Insurance; hands-on experience in Claims is highly preferred.
Proven experience defining and documenting business processes, workflows, and functional requirements.
Expertise in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.
Solid techno-functional background, able to engage both business and technical stakeholders effectively.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
