💼 We’re Hiring: Senior Linux Systems Administrator – Azure/AWS
We are looking for a Senior Linux System Administrator to provide technical leadership in managing, securing, and continuously improving enterprise Linux environments across on-premises, virtualized, and cloud platforms.
The role will handle complex infrastructure incidents, platform lifecycle activities, automation, security hardening, performance optimization, and major changes across a globally distributed IT environment.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities
- Lead the administration, hardening, monitoring, maintenance, and lifecycle management of enterprise Linux platforms.
- Manage and troubleshoot Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu, Rocky, AlmaLinux, and other Linux distributions.
- Lead resolution of complex incidents, root-cause analysis, service restoration, and preventive actions.
- Plan and execute OS patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, configuration changes, backup validation, and disaster recovery activities.
- Develop automation and configuration-management solutions using Ansible, Bash, Python, and related tools.
- Perform system performance analysis, capacity planning, kernel tuning, storage management, and troubleshooting.
- Manage Linux services including NFS, CIFS, FTP, syslog, SNMP, and other enterprise services.
- Support Linux environments across VMware, KVM, Nutanix, physical servers, and cloud infrastructure.
- Work with Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage, identity, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with Cloud, Network, Security, Database, Application, Service Delivery, and vendor teams.
- Maintain technical standards, documentation, procedures, knowledge articles, and project-to-BAU transition documentation.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and functional supervision to OS administration teams.
- Participate in shifting schedules, on-call rotations, after-hours support, and planned maintenance.

🎓 Qualifications
- 8+ years of infrastructure experience, with at least 7 years of hands-on Linux administration experience.
- Strong expertise in enterprise Linux installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting, performance tuning, security hardening, recovery, and lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux and other major Linux distributions
- Bash, AWK, SED, and basic Perl scripting
- Ansible and automation
- LVM and SAN storage using dm-multipath
- Linux networking and system services
- User, access, and security management
- OS hardening and vulnerability remediation
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with VMware and/or KVM virtualization.
- Knowledge of enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, LDAP, monitoring, and ITIL processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
🤝 Preferred Qualifications
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Automation with Ansible (RH294) training/certification.
- Red Hat Satellite 6 Administration (RH403) training/certification.
- Microsoft AZ-104 and/or AZ-305 training/certification.
- Relevant Linux, Cloud, Automation, Security, or IT Service Management certifications.
