We are looking for an experienced Senior Power BI Administrator to manage, optimize, and support enterprise Power BI and Microsoft Fabric environments. You will play a key role in ensuring platform stability, performance, governance, and deployment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable business intelligence solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize the Microsoft Power BI platform and Microsoft Fabric environment.
- Manage Power BI workspaces, gateways, licensing, reports, dashboards, and platform governance.
- Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve production incidents and ensure service reliability.
- Support deployment and code migration across environments using automation tools.
- Lead or participate in platform upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Review production readiness of Power BI solutions before deployment.
- Mentor team members and promote platform best practices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical production issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in Power BI Administration.
- Strong experience administering enterprise Power BI environments.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Power BI Administration
- Microsoft Fabric Administration
- Workspace management
- Power BI Gateway configuration
- License management
- Report and dashboard optimization
- Experience with deployment automation and code migration using tools such as Python, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in incident management and root cause analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
- Willing to participate in scheduled on-call support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BI platforms such as Qlik, MicroStrategy, or BusinessObjects.
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and performance tuning.
- Experience in incident and problem management.
