π― Position Objective / Job Summary
Help ensure the stability, security, and performance of our enterprise IT environment. In this role, you'll administer Windows Server environments, support cloud infrastructure, manage enterprise backup solutions, and maintain critical on-premises and cloud-based systems that keep the business running smoothly.

βοΈ Key Responsibilities
Windows Infrastructure Administration
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Perform routine server patching, updates, and system health checks.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize server performance and availability.
- Support virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V.
Cloud Infrastructure
- Support Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Assist with provisioning, monitoring, and scaling cloud resources.
- Configure and maintain cloud backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Maintain accurate cloud infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.
Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Administer enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam, Commvault, or Veritas NetBackup.
- Monitor backup jobs and resolve failures to ensure successful data protection.
- Perform backup validation and restore testing to ensure data recoverability.
- Manage backup schedules, retention policies, and disaster recovery readiness.
Monitoring & Operations
- Monitor infrastructure performance using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and infrastructure alerts.
- Maintain server inventory, configuration records, and technical documentation.
- Support system maintenance activities and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Security & Compliance
- Apply security patches and infrastructure hardening best practices.
- Support vulnerability management, audit activities, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure systems meet organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.

Required
- Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V
- Microsoft Azure (IaaS, Azure AD, Azure Backup)
- Enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, or Veritas NetBackup)
- SAN/NAS storage technologies (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE)
- Infrastructure monitoring tools (SolarWinds, SCOM, Nagios, or similar)
- ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or equivalent)
- PowerShell scripting
- Patch management and system maintenance
Preferred
- AWS (EC2, S3, IAM)
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Storage protocols (iSCSI, NFS, SMB)
- Infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Vulnerability management tools (Qualys, Tenable)
- SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel
π Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in workstation deployment, system administration, or infrastructure automation.
- Experience supporting Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise backup systems.
- Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises environments is highly preferred.
