💼 We’re Hiring: Senior Wintel Administrator (SME)
This role is for a Senior Wintel Expert who manages Windows servers, cloud platforms, virtualization, and backup systems across enterprise environments.
The person will support both on-premise and cloud infrastructure, ensuring servers, backups, and systems are secure, stable, patched, and always available.

🔁 Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
🕒 Schedule: Shifting/Mid - Shift
Wintel Administration
Administer and maintain Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
Perform routine patching, firmware upgrades, updates, and system health checks
Monitor and troubleshoot server performance, availability, and infrastructure issues
Support virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V
Cloud Infrastructure Support
Assist in managing and maintaining cloud resources across Azure and AWS
Monitor cloud workloads and support provisioning and scaling activities
Support cloud backup and disaster recovery configurations
Maintain technical documentation for cloud environments and operational procedures
Backup Operations
Administer enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam and Commvault
Monitor backup jobs and resolve alerts or failures
Perform restore testing to ensure backup integrity and recoverability
Maintain backup schedules and retention policies
Maintenance & Monitoring
Utilize monitoring tools to track infrastructure health and performance
Respond to incidents, alerts, and service requests related to servers and backups
Maintain asset inventory and configuration documentation
Security & Compliance
Apply security patches and follow system hardening standards
Support audit and compliance activities including access reviews and backup validation
Ensure systems comply with internal security and regulatory requirements

VMware vSphere/ESXi
Microsoft Hyper-V
Cloud Platforms
Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Azure AD, Azure Backup)
AWS (EC2, S3, IAM)
GCP exposure is a plus
Hybrid cloud connectivity and monitoring
Backup & Recovery
Veeam Backup & Replication
Commvault or Veritas NetBackup
Restore testing and retention policy management
Storage Technologies
SAN/NAS solutions (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE)
iSCSI, NFS, SMB protocols
Monitoring & Security
SolarWinds, SCOM, Nagios, or similar tools
ServiceNow or BMC Remedy
Qualys, Tenable, Splunk, Sentinel
Automation & Scripting
PowerShell
Exposure to Ansible and Terraform is an advantage
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of infrastructure experience
5+ years of experience in workstation build and automation
Strong experience with Windows Server administration
Experience supporting virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
Hands-on experience with backup and recovery tools
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
Basic to intermediate PowerShell scripting skills
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies
Strong sense of accountability and ownership
Adaptable and flexible in evolving environments
Team-oriented with strong customer service mindset
Able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
