Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in Manual Quality Assurance / Testing
At least 5 years of experience in Automation QA / Testing, with hands-on development of automated test frameworks
Proficient in programming or scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, C, C#, or shell scripting
Experience with Playwright, as well as other test automation frameworks
Experience in backend API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and REST APIs
Strong working knowledge of database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB)
Solid understanding of test design techniques, QA methodologies, and the software development lifecycle (Agile & Waterfall)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented, with strong time management and problem-solving skills
Good to Have:
Experience in business domains such as manufacturing, distribution, or financial operations
Exposure to mentoring or guiding junior QA staff
Familiarity with cloud services / cloud automation platforms
Prior experience working in a shared‑services or cross‑functional QA/Automation setup
Automation & Testing:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium WebDriver or equivalent
Review requirements and define test automation strategy with high coding standards
Translate business requirements into automated test cases
Ensure releases conform to agreed functions and requirements, supported by test summary reports or acceptance certificates
Process & Improvement:
Participate in and enforce software development lifecycle standards and QA best practices
Monitor and report on automation progress & metrics
Contribute suggestions for tools or environment enhancements
Collaborate with manual QA, development, and senior automation analysts to improve automation framework architecture
Reporting & Support:
Execute test scripts; identify, replicate, and report defects clearly
Certify fixes and new functionality through regression / functional / system testing
Prepare test plan, effort estimation, and summarizing test results
Administrative & Teamwork:
Mentor junior QA/Automation team members
Record testing activities, report issues, ensure compliance with process standards
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (developers, business analysts, QA leads)
Maintain flexibility to support changing priorities and schedules
