Job Scheduling & Automation
Develop, configure, and maintain automated job scheduling workflows using tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or similar platforms.
Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to gather requirements and design job flows that meet operational needs.
Package and deploy job flows across development, testing, and production environments.
Recommend enhancements to improve scheduling frameworks and processes.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Monitor job scheduling configurations and proactively identify abnormal behaviors.
Analyze incidents, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions (including bug fixes).
Provide Level 3 support for new and existing job flows.
Review and validate change requests related to core scheduling modules, implementing approved changes.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
Document job flow designs, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Support knowledge transfer and collaboration across teams.
Essential
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT support, system analysis, or system development.
Strong ability to analyze and synthesize situations, take initiative, and make sound decisions.
Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Desirable/Preferable
Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
Self-motivated and capable of learning independently.
Good interpersonal, intercultural, customer-oriented, and teamwork skills.
Proficiency with job scheduling software (Control-M, Autosys) and job flow design.
Strong analysis and issue resolution skills.
Knowledge of programming languages and module management.
Basic scripting skills in Linux Shell and PowerShell.
Familiarity with source management systems (SVN, Git, PVCS, etc.).
Basic administration skills on Windows Server and Linux.
Knowledge of MS SQL Server and/or Oracle databases.
Experience managing File Transfer tools (Axway, GoAnywhere, etc)
