Key Responsibilities of the Role
· Data Analysis and Reporting:
o Work closely with stakeholders to understand and interpret data requirements for business processes.
o Develop and maintain Power BI and SAP BO reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights.
· Data Model Development and Maintenance:
o Design, create, and optimize data models to support efficient data processing and reporting.
o Ensure data integrity and consistency across various sources and models.
· User Administration and Support:
o Administer user access and permissions for BI tools to ensure security and efficient use.
o Serve as a key resource for data-related queries within the organization, particularly for Power BI and SAP BO.
· Collaboration and Process Improvement:
o Work with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvements based on data insights.
o Provide guidance to team members to elevate data analysis capabilities across the team.
Key Requirements (Education and Experience)
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, data science, or a related field.
· Experience: 5+ years of experience in data analysis and data engineering, with a strong focus on:
o Business intelligence tools: Power BI (primary) and SAP BO.
o Database systems: Azure SQL and Databricks.
o Programming languages: Proficiency in Python for data processing and analysis would be a plus.
· Skills:
o Strong experience in data modeling, report creation, and user administration.
o Advanced proficiency in Power BI for creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
o Solid understanding of SQL and / or Databricks for database querying and manipulation.
o Ability to design complex data models and develop BI reports that meet various business needs.
o Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and team members
