Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Technology or relevant field or a combination of applicable education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing technology teams, with a solid background in project management.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and team management.
  • Previous experience participating in internal and/or external audit activities.
  • Experience working within a regulated industry not essential but considered a plus.
  • Broad understanding of diverse technologies including MS SQL, APIs, and .NET framework.
  • General office tools including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project.  Also helpful but not essential is Microsoft TFS/DevOps, HL7, Smart Bear.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills; able to work independently or with direction to achieve team goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and influencing skills to assess workload and business commitments.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to deal effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong leadership qualities including initiative, decisiveness, integrity, flexibility, creativity, communication and a positive attitude.
  • Drives a high-performance culture by meeting or exceeding goals, while staying adaptable and continuously updating skills and knowledge.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong, efficient team with delegated authority, ensuring compliance with policies, processes, and quality standards, while recruiting and developing team members to complement each other and achieve collective business goals and product delivery.
  • Supervise and support a diverse team with various skill sets, including technical, administrative, project, and product management, while assisting with problem-solving and escalating issues to the appropriate staff when necessary.
  • Balance and schedule staff workload and project distribution under direction of the on-shore, US technical leads and in collaboration with the team scrum masters.
  • Establish a strong and effective working relationship between on and offshore teams.  This includes acting as the liaison for staff engagement, business and project direction and collaboration, and conflict resolution with on-shore ACHT Technical Leads.
  • Effectively communicates and collaborates with subordinates, peers, management and authorities both on and offshore through direct and dotted line reporting.
  • Interacts with on and offshore staff in terms of supervising and managing staff and projects. 
  • Demonstrates leadership skills by connecting people and teams to help achieve organizational goals through inspiration, delegation and communication.
  • Monitor team metrics and performance to ensure commitments and deliverables are met, while conducting staff reviews and evaluations with technical leads, providing measurable coaching, and ensuring compliance with local training and education requirements.
  • Manage staff and their respective workspace and computing requirements in conjunction with API building facilities.
  • Verify the quality of work produced through technical reviews and evaluations.
  • Manage local budget and related processes in collaboration with on and offshore finance.
  • Performs duties in compliance with established on and offshore policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of applicable Quality Processes as per ISO, FDA, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.
  • Production of KPI reports for Management including trend analysis as required for upward reporting.
  • Demonstrates independent thinking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and as part of a team to produce solutions, meet deadlines, and fulfill project and business commitments.
