We are seeking an experienced and visionary Techno-Functional Project Manager to lead the launch and management of this new office. This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a high-performing technical team that will be integral to delivering our core platform, insurance products, and support services globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the operational launch of the Philippines Development Centre, overseeing recruitment, infrastructure setup, line management, and local compliance.
Build and manage a multi-disciplinary team across various workstreams, including:
Core platform development (back end and front end in C++, C#)
Testing and quality assurance (manual and in-house tools)
Insurance product analysis and development support
Future team expansion may include:
Customer support for a global market
Web development (C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS)
Insurance product algorithm development (proprietary tools)
Document development (XML, XSLT, CSS)
Systems operations support
Ensure the delivery of high-quality software and services by implementing robust processes, KPIs, and quality control frameworks.
Collaborate closely with UK-based leadership to align on strategy, delivery timelines, and cultural integration.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency, scalability, and engagement.
Essential Qualifications:
Higher education degree.
Fluency in business English.
Proven leadership experience in managing software development or delivery teams (10+ FTEs).
Strong track record of recruiting, mentoring, and retaining high-performing technical teams.
Expertise in agile delivery, quality assurance, and cross-functional collaboration.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, especially in cross-cultural and global environments.
A strategic mindset paired with a hands-on, “can-do” attitude.
Comfortable working shift hours to overlap UK business hours.
Desirable Qualifications:
Strong technical background in software engineering, ideally within Microsoft environments.
An MBA or other relevant professional certifications.
