We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our production team in creating engaging, high-quality educational video content for a global audience. You will edit a variety of content, including screen recordings, interviews, talking-head videos, and motion graphics while collaborating closely with producers and curriculum managers to deliver polished videos on schedule.
This is a project-based, fully remote opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit in-studio and remotely recorded footage, including screen recordings, interviews, talking-head videos, and motion graphics.
- Follow production scripts and storyboards while incorporating feedback from producers and curriculum managers.
- Create polished, engaging videos that align with project goals and quality standards.
- Communicate regularly with project teams via Slack and email.
- Organize, maintain, and back up production media, footage, and online asset libraries.
- Research and recommend improvements to media management workflows and storage solutions.
- Support the onboarding, training, and mentoring of remote video editors when needed.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while managing multiple deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Adobe After Effects.
- Strong video editing, pacing, and visual storytelling skills.
- Excellent media management and file organization abilities.
- Ability to interpret creative direction while exercising sound editorial judgment.
- Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven production environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback professionally.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to continuously learn and improve technical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating Essential Graphics templates in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Experience with sound design, audio repair, and audio mixing.
- Experience editing educational or e-learning (EdTech) video content.
